AfCFTA: Cameroon plays key role in continental integration

On 4 July 2025, Cameroon's Trade Minister, Luc Magloire Mbarga Atangana, received in audience the Secretary General of the AfCFTA, H.E. Wamkele Mene, on behalf of the Prime Minister, Chief Dr Joseph Dion Ngute. AfCFTA: Reinforcing the cassava production capacities of women in Mbangassina

The second phase of the capacity-building programme for women of the cassava sector under the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) is underway in Mbangassina, a village in the Centre Region of Cameroon.

COMMUNITY FREE TRADE ZONE

 Given the major concerns expressed by ECCAS Heads of State and Government regarding continental integration, and the current state of affairs, which reveals that only four of the 11 countries are compliant.
